Quality R&D
Quality is one of Grupo Soria’s basic pillars, that is why we have the technical and human resources for the correct management and execution of the manufacturing, processing, storage and transport of our products.
At Grupo Soria we monitor everything: from the entry of raw materials through the different phases of the process, such as bottle blowing, packaging, conditioning, etc., while controlling at all times the physical, chemical microbiological properties of the product during its manufacture and for the time it is on the market (life cycle).
Quality policy
The quality policyof Grupo Soria advocates for continuous improvement and adaptation to the technical progress of each area, obtaining, as a guarantee, several certificates of voluntary initiative, including the IFS HPC certificates, and ISO 22716 standard, EuCertPlast, the CHARTER project by AISE, among others.

Our commitment to continuous improvement includes not only the product but also all the intermediate production processes involved in obtaining the final product. Thanks to the demanding controls that our processes undergo, we can guarantee that each of them obtains, from the previous production process, an intermediate product in optimum conditions.

A clear example is our blowing section, in which state-of-the-art machinery and systems that permanently control leaks guarantee that the filling section operates in optimum conditions. But how do we achieve lean manufacturing in our processes, from the point of view of quality assurance?
We have a highly qualified staff and a new modern laboratory equipped with the necessary means for control and analysis, thus ensuring a high manufacture quality of our cosmetic, household cleaning, and recycled plastic products.

Complying with safety and hygiene standards, in 2018, we were certified in the IFS HPC version 2 standard on the manufacture of chemical products for household cleaning/care. The IFS HPC standard is one of the most demanding in the market of household products, considering that it is based on a food standard.
At Grupo Soria we are very satisfied with this qualification: 96.43 out of 100.

Regarding the manufacture of cosmetic products, we hold certificates in Good manufacturing practices (GMP) for manufacturing and packaging, according to the ISO22716 standard. In addition, as part of our commitment to continuous improvement, we have isolated and exclusive facilities for manufacturing in clean rooms catalogued as ISO8, guaranteeing the highest hygienic quality..
We are also associated with STANPA (Spanish Cosmetic, Toiletry and Perfumery Association). Therefore, we are constantly advised on information and training in all national and international regulations.
Quality and Environment Policies
Satisfying our clients is our main goal. How do we do that? By means of three cornerstones: excellent products, continuous improvement, and an increasing contribution to the environment.
R&D
Innovation is a fundamental aspect of our group. Therefore, we analyse and evaluate market trends, adapting our procedures to generate and develop new ideas for our current and potential clients. Apart from the development of new products or an improvement in the current ones, tests of use and effectiveness are carried out to obtain the most efficient and environmentally friendly products.
In addition to qualified staff, we have modern technical meansthat place us at the forefront of the market, which allows us to develop new and sophisticated products on-demand, either upon a client request or upon our own initiative. Thus, we work in close collaboration with Technological Research Centres and other institutions for the development of different projects such as Aimplas, Aidimme, and Fimed.
We also have a training plan to help our staff develop their maximum potential in each position, as well as to be at the forefront of all the developments in our industry, whether technical, commercial, legislative, etc.
All this, together with the investments in machinery for the modernisation of manufacturing systems, allows us to have modern and efficient technological means to adapt to the requirements of the market and our clients.
Environment
As part of our commitment to society, we try to minimise the environmental impactof our activity and promote and carry out recycling practices to reduce the use of natural resources.
In our detergency sections, apart from developing more effective products to have a lower environmental impact, we are committed to the Zero Liquid Dischargeinitiative, reusing all the washing water from manufacture, and thus reducing the generated amount of waste without throwing anything into the sewer system.

EuCertPlast
We are polyethylene plastic recyclers, so we recover post-consumer plastic and treat it to make our own raw material. Over the last few years, we have obtained and maintained the EuCertPlast certification.

AISE Charter
Considering that Hermanos Soria S.L. manufactures household products, we wanted to commit a little more to society. Therefore, we obtained certificates within the framework of the AISE Charter, in which, in addition to the environmental commitment, occupational risk prevention and corporate social responsibility are taken into account.

Ecoembes
We are members of Ecoembes, the Spanish association dedicated to recycling containers and packaging on the Spanish market. In this way, we guarantee that all our containers are properly managed after use. For this reason, our products are marked with the ‘green dot‘. For this reason our products are identified with the“green dot”.
Regulations
Within our group, the cleaning and cosmetics areas experiencea permanent evolution. Therefore, we belong to different national associations, such as ADELMA and STANPA, to be updated on the current legislation, as well as to know future developments and adapt to new regulations with anticipation.
Being a member of all these organisations guarantees that our activities are carried out in compliance with the guidelines of the European Union, and that the company voluntarily complies with several Standards before they become mandatory.
